I thought I knew you, I thought
i was something special to you
but as it turns out Im the guy, who
you use to kill time with, between guy to guy

I shoulda known better I should of
erected the walls and manned the towers
but instead as the gates of Babylon were left open,

Just as Darius came in and laid seige by walking right in
Destroying all in his path
So too did you, I broke down the wall for you and let you walk right in

I must be a glutton for punishment
You hit me once, and i took it on the chin and I came back for more
When am I gonna see??
That no matter what i do your not gonna be with me.

I scratch my head, and wonder why
Why, I cant turn your head?
Why, can he make you laugh, and bring a smile to your face
